The Friends of the Library is a group of townspeople interested in promoting the well being of the library.

Dues: $1.00 a year ($5.00 / family)

We put on a number of fund raising events:

The Library Plant Sale (38th in 2011) the 3rd Saturday in May at the Town Hall

Mini Book Sale at 'Celebrate Bowdoinham' September 11, 2010
The Big Book Sale in November (11/6/2010)

The Wreath and Poinsettia Sale (November-December)
